This is the first in a series of posts highlighting what I consider to be the best travel hacks

a stack of paper with textDid you know that when you book award travel, you can make your points go further, much further, by taking advantage of loose airline rules concerning stopovers, transfers, and open-jaws?  When redeeming miles, it is often possible to visit multiple cities, or even book multiple separate trips for the same number of miles as a single ticket. Taking advantage of this is fairly complicated and the rules vary from one airline to the next, but the potential benefits are huge. Unfortunately this doesn’t apply to British Airways anymore, they just gutted their reward chart with out warning.
