FM: Buying the gift card for nordstroms on staples.com and it’s charging me sales tax. Anyone else had that experience. It should not be charging sales tax, correct?
That happened to me a few months ago for a different card at Staples.com so I didn’t place the order. You’re not supposed to be charged tax on a gift card.

That used to be true. I suspect it is old language that they failed to clean up when staples began accepting gift cards online

You can buy a $200 Visa GC from Staples.com with a Staples GC? I thought that was only possible at a local store.

Yes, online you can (and go through portal like uPromise for 5% cash back). In store, depends on cashier.
