Notes
- It is not necessary to use a Southwest branded credit card
- You can find information about whether or not gift cards count by looking in the Frequent Miler Laboratory.
- Points earned via the Southwest portal do count towards the Southwest Companion Pass.

How long do points take to show up in SW rewards mall? I’m guessing everything will post in 2014, but towards the end of the year will it count towards 2014 companion pass or 2015?
They post in a days for me, at least when going through the portal to Sears.
Anything that posts in 2014 would count towards 2014. The pass is good the rest of the year you earn it plus the entire next year. So earned at end of 14 good to end of 15, earned at start of 2015 good to end of 2016.
I’ve had it take as long as two months for the points to actually move into my SWA account towards the companion pass. So, right now, its probably safe to say that points earned will count towards the 2014 totals, but in November and December it will be hard to say.
