Ebates has temporarily increased the payout rate for American Express gift cards to 2% when using their mobile app. There is no expiration date listed, but increased payouts generally only last a day or two.

Notes
- Do not use a promo code to reduce gift card fees or for free shipping since that will invalidate your cash back (the Premium Shipping Plan is fine, though).
- Do not buy denominations higher than $2,000 (see: $2K denomination limit on Amex gift card cash back)
- Do not pay with Citibank credit cards since they sometimes charge cash advance fees.

I haven’t received order hasn’t been posted yet to eBates. How long is this suppose to take?
Android won’t let me change payment methods (drop-down menu isn’t clickable) other than my AMEX blue preferred card, which won’t give me more than 1% !!!!

What time did you submit the match request? I’m still waiting for them to match mine.
I submitted it, and then about 6 hours later it was matched. It was very fast. I submitted it yesterday morning, and by the afternoon it was approved.
They may be super busy with all the guarantee claims. I submitted mine at 10:45am Mountain Time, so it has been 21 hours. And now today they’re doing 2.25% on Biz cards. Grrr.. I wish they did more deals at the beginning of the month since my statements close on the 3rd or 4th.
