FTU Advanced returns for two more weekends

9

Last weekend we held both FTU (Frequent Traveler University) and FTU Advanced at in Dallas. Between the two, I spoke at 5 different sessions.  As a result, I only had time to attend one session led by anyone else – Advanced Credit Cards by Stefan.  It was a terrific talk and I learned quite a bit.  There were quite a few other sessions that I would have loved to attend.  Maybe next time…

Next time(s) announced

Now, in case you missed this one, two more FTU Advanced weekends have been announced.  We (sans me due to planned travel) will return to DC on August 21-23, and we (including me) will return to Dallas September 25-27.

Hurry?

In the past, each FTU Advanced has sold out in a few days or less.  Hopefully, since two events have been announced at once, there will be a bit more time to register if you’re interested.  That said, if you’re sure you want to go, I’d recommend registering sooner rather than later.

Registration and details about each event can be found here:

If you want to see me…

I can’t make it to the August event, but I will be back for FTU Dallas.  I don’t know yet which specific talks I’ll give, but in past FTU Advanced events I’ve covered these topics:

  • Shortcuts to elite status: Hotels and airlines offer terrific benefits to their top tier elites. Unfortunately, obtaining high level status through flights and/or stays can be tough.  Instead, in this session, I review how to get high level status without flights or hotel stays.
  • Manufactured spending: How to increase credit card spend and get your money back.  I cover REDbird, Bluebird, Buxx, and much more.
  • Ask me anything: I don’t have any material planned in advance for these.  I take questions from the audience and answer to the best of my ability. One great thing about these sessions is that there are often audience members who know more than I do about any given topic and they’re usually happy to share the tricks they know.

I’ll also be speaking at the Ann Arbor DO in July, and Chicago Seminars in October.  Information about all upcoming events, as always, can be found in the Frequent Miler Event Schedule page, under the Start Here menu.
