Paypal Digital Gifts via eBay is selling $100 Sears eGift cards for $85 with a limit of 3 per user id. These deals normally sell out quickly, so I wouldn’t wait to purchase if you are interested.
This purchase should earn 5X points with a Chase Ink card plus up to 2% through a portal. You will also receive 2% in eBay Bucks, however some members have been targered with a 4X eBay Bucks promotion for even more savings.

“something’s happening” — re. Sears and the portals. (over at cashbackholic, all… all the portals are listed as giving “11% cash back” — if you start through CBH…. But when you click on individual portals therefrom, get indications of about half that. (which would be much more still)
Stupid question. If I pay through Paypal using my chase ink do I get the 5% cashback?
Or do I need to pay directly with my chase ink and not through paypal? If so, how do I do that? ebay always asks me to sign in to my paypal account to pay.

I can not buy from Pay Pal digital gift anymore. For the past few weeks I have been getting an error message while checking out/and logging into my Pay Pal account. I do not have this issue with any other merchant.. just paypal digital gifts. Unfortunately I have missed out on some great deals. Of course I have called pay pal and ebay, and a solution never transpires (ever!!). Do you have any idea what could solve this? Thank you !!!

I am having the same problem. I wonder if I unlink my paypal and eBay amount will solve the problem , but now, when I try to check out I get error code 70245. I called eBay and it was not much help yet.

Same here… I can’t buy any gift cards even from other sellers.
SAME HERE — with the unspecified error code 70245. I called up ebay — waited half hour for help, then the pleasant asian voice ended up telling me to clear my cache, restart, etc. (which I’d already done) She had no idea what the problem is.
Shawn, I generally HATE doing business with ebay/paypal precisely because of this madness. Yet as the deals you’ve often drawn are attention to here are promising, I broke down and went through the hassle of finally deleting all traces of a paypal I’d had from back in the early days (when paypal had one security breach after another)
Then got a new paypal account, re-entered the Ink card data (I HATE leaving that data on anybody else’s web site — most esp. paypa)….
And the error came back again!!!!
So then it dawned on me that maybe we were limited to one gift card purchase per order. (think I’d read that somewhere earlier today – perhaps via doc of c – ) Tried just one card, and no more error 70245.
Wish the ebay rep. could have told me that — or that it was in the T&C on the deal.
well, I’ll be horn-swaggled. Went back to buy another “one” — and the ole’ error message 7025 blocked me at the last step, as before. (and yes, they still had more on this promotion still in stock)
As before, I just loathe dealing with ebay/paypal. (and no, it’s not just “business” – this kind of crap is inexcusable)
I was not able to buy it because of error 70245 on eBay /PayPal . So frustrating because I spent all night long trying and calling eBay about it. I have a brand new chase ink and a need to find an opportunity to get 5x . I hope another deal comes up soon .
