Virgin America Elevate has launched their “Flights with Bennies” program and is offering 500 points per referral.

Key Terms
- This offer is open to existing Elevate® program members (Referrer) who refer non-Elevate members (Referee) to join the Elevate Program via the ‘Flights with Bennies’ promotion microsite.
- Referees are required to enroll in the Elevate program via the email, Facebook, or Twitter referral link as received by the Referee.
- Offer ends March 31, 2016.
- For every person you refer who enrolls in the Elevate program, up to 5 people, you will earn 500 bonus reward points.
- You can also refer yourself and earn 500 bonus points, which counts towards the 5 person limit.

Refer Yourself for 1,000 Points?
Based on the terms, it does seem like new members can refer themselves and earn 1,000 bonus points total. If you refer yourself, it does count towards the 5 referral cap. If for some reason you aren’t comfortable referring yourself, here is my referral link which will give you 500 points.

By referring myself does it mean I can just click “DO IT WITH A FRIEND” and enter my own email address for both sender and recipient? Can the system record the sender correctly even though my address is not linked to an account yet? Thank you.
