Hilton is once again offering a status match for elite members of other loyalty programs.
The Offer
Hilton HHonors will match your status with any other loyalty program. To get matched, visit this page and fill out the required information.
Key Terms
- Offer only redeemable once for the lifetime of the promotion.
- To match your status with Hilton HHonors Silver, Gold or Diamond status, you must provide your Hilton HHonors account number and proof of current tier status with Starwood Preferred Guest, Marriott Rewards, IHG Rewards Club, Hyatt Gold Passport, Choice Privileges, or other hotel loyalty program.
- Acceptable forms of status validation include a screenshot of your current account status or your membership card. Acceptable forms of stay validation include a screenshot of your previous reservations or hotel receipt, redacting any personal information other than your name and membership number.
- After registering and tier status is validated, Hilton HHonors elite tier status will be valid through March 2018, thereafter; standard tier requirements must be met to maintain elite status.
Re-Matching?
If you previously matched to Hilton HHonors status during their promotion late last year and received status through 2017, you may be able to get that extended by re-matching. (Despite what the terms say.) I was able to request a new match and confirm that they extended my Hilton HHonors Diamond status through 2018. Any signs of Hyatt, SPG or others matching Hilton Diamond status?
I can’t find an expiration date for this promo. Anybody know when the offer expires?
Is there any downside to matching now? Will this limit our ability to match a year or two later?
Be careful that the screen captures you submit are in jpg format. My software saved as a png, so my initial status-match request was (evidently) denied.
The website does not permit second/repeat requests.
Will IHG Platinum match to Hilton Diamond still? That is what I used in the last match opportunity. My wife would like to do the same match with IHG Platinum to Hilton Diamond and I would like to rematch to extend another year.
If we are sending proof of a stay can it be a points reward stay with the rewards part blocked out?

Damn, the LAX Crowne Plaza doesn’t do online receipts, so I have nothing to submit for a match.
Scan in your last folio printout!
And where do I get that? The stay was 8 months ago and we never keep folio printouts. It was also an award stay, and I don’t know if that would even count.
I had the same problem. So I logged into my IHG account, went to the “Activity” section, searched for a long enough time horizon for my last stay to show up, and took a print screen. I have not heard back from Hilton, but I can’t see why the won’t accept that.
