  1. Respectfully, I don’t think this is a good deal. IHG’s “Best Flex” and “Smart Plan” rates seem to be way above pre-paid rates for the same nights — I checked a few weekends and they were $80-$125 higher per night (pre-paid was about $235 at either hotel, and IHG’s rates were $320 – $360). So the “free” night will cost 240 – $375 ($80-$125 * 3). Could be a good value if you have a plan to use it at a high-priced property, but probably not worth it to collect speculatively.

Generally I have a hard time using a lot of deals in Las Vegas because there seems to be so much variance between the flexible rates published by the hotels themselves and cheap pre-paid rates on sites like Kayak.

Thanks for all you guys do!

  2. What I find interesting is that this MIGHT stack with Amex FHR – they have current 4th night free with the Palazzo only, plus other perks like 2 free breakfast and $100 spa credit.

The price on Amex FHR is the EXACT same as the flex rate for a 3 night or 4 night booking. So if you book 4 nights with FHR, it might be reasonable to expect 4th night free at hotel per Amex AND your free night voucher plus IHG points and the FHR goodies.

Anyone have experience with stacking like this? I know Prestige works as they book through IHG website and can get that rate.

I would appreciate any input as am planning to book something soon for a trip with the parents and want to treat them to something special….and get good deal in process.
