[…] Carrabba’s Amex Offer Returns: 40% Off & Stacks with AARP Discount […]

Dan

Does the offer show up in Amex Offers when you login to your account when you enroll through Twitter?

Dan

I have tweeted at them 3 times and they never confirmed…

SDO

For those of you who are well under retirement age and have AARP membership for the discounts, do people ever look at you funny when you whip out your card?

escot

Hi Shawn. Didn’t see this Carrabba offer first time around, and not seeing it again (via amex website login) on all four of our family amex cards…. (via internet login) So I surmise I have to go through the hassle of yet again dealing with the twitter universe to get it…. right? For this deal, might be just worth it to re-learn….? Do I need to set up twitter account for each card?

Nick

We didn’t have it on any of our cards either. I think that once you get the offer activation confirmation email via Twitter, you can simply unregister that AMEX card, add another and repeat the process. This is a bit quicker than setting up multiple Twitter accounts if you have not already done so.

Ben

Can I apply the AARP discount to the purchase of Gift cards? i.e. Ask for a $30 gift card, take off 15% for a final price of $25.5, then receive $10 from Amex? Final cost would be $15.5 for a $30 gift card?

dan

is the aarp discount good for any day & time? TIA
