I was able to find a 7 day trip from Sioux Falls to Milan with this sale. Booked. CPM over 4 cpm.

Thanks, Greg.

PS: It appeared to me, that partner space was still pricing at 140K as that is all I could find for Rome and a few other European cities. Almost felt like Delta had to get you directly to the city in question.

Glad you found something that works for you!
Yes, that’s right — the sale is only for Delta flights, not partner flights.

[…] Frequent Miler, Delta is having another “flash sale“, this time on premium cabin travel from the US to […]

Does this sale aslo translate to one-way tickets? We just booked one-way Atlanta to Munich one way for 70K in a One Cabin B/F flight.

No, this one is round-trip only and must include a Saturday night stay

Greg The Frequent Miler

I’m surprised at how few 99K options there are. In past award sales Delta seemed to have widely opened up award seats, but I’m not seeing that same trend now. Part of the problem is that this time requires a round-trip with a Saturday night stay. You’ll only see 99K if your trip spans Saturday and has saver level award space on both the outbound and inbound flights.

Still, I do see many 99K dates available when searching from a hub city (e.g. Detroit, Atlanta, …) to London (haven’t checked other destinations). Make sure to do a 5 week award search and set your initial dates about 7 days apart (so that the trip spans a Saturday night). Then, make sure you’re looking in the right months: March – June 2017. Once you find start dates that work, you can play around with the return dates to find one that works for your schedule.

Has anyone found even 1 ticket anywhere for 99k? I’ve been looking for 10 minutes and haven’t found a single one on any route.

it’s a crock, like all their sales.

265k, 300k … a few of the 140k — tried many options, never a 99 or anything close to it.

Nice people.

Geoff

To say availability is scarce would be an understatement. But a sale is a sale and quite frankly 99,000 miles RT in D1 is a very good deal.

[…] Hat tip to Frequent Miler […]

Josh

Remind us what the normal Delta award saver redemption price is?

Ralfinho

@Josh, that’s 140,000 miles roundtrip.
