Plastiq is an online bill payment service that lets you pay almost all of your bills by credit card. Plastiq’s standard fee for credit card payments is 2.5%, but for quite a while they’ve offered a promotional 2% rate for MasterCard payments. At some point not too long ago, that promotional rate ended. Now Plastiq charges 2.5% for all credit card payments including Amex, MasterCard, Visa, and Discover.

I used to get 3x on mortgage with ATT access more and I found the statement from this month has changed. It gives me 1x on the mortgage. Any one seeing the same thing?
I am paying both HOA and mortgage with same category on plastiq. I still seeing HOA is 3x but mortgage is a regular 1x. Then, I took a closer look of past few months. Last year, it give me 3x on the property tax I pad. But, the statement from last month, I see mortgage is 3x but property tax is only 1x.
I am thinking if I should switch the payment method to CSR or give it another month to see if 3x comes back.
My guess is that there’s a bug in the software which is why some people are seeing 2.0%. If that’s you, enjoy it!
Still 2% for me as well, just processed 6 payments after reading this and all MC payments were 2%.
I don’t think this is accurate. I just tested it. Got quoted the 2% fee.
Says: “Plastiq Fee: 2.00%” when I reach the submit payment screen.
Must have been very recently, just paid my mortgage Friday Nov 18 and it says 2.0% .. glad I got it in before the increase
Lucky you. I made a car payment on Nov 18th and got charged 2.5% on MC. I sent them an email and they confirmed all cards are now 2.5%.
