Hot: Dallas to Madrid for $386 RT on Delta, $404 to Paris

Update: The offer for the Business Platinum card has expired and benefits of the card have changed. Please see our Best Offers page for a complete description of the current offer and benefits.

Airfares sales to Europe continue with Dallas to Madrid available for $386 round trip on many dates in March, April, and May.  This deal can be hot for those with either the Air France Amex Offer or the American Express Business Platinum.

The return flights on some days include KLM/Air France.  Paris is also available for $404.  Examples of availability in May from Google Flights:

Also see here for other cities.

As Dallas is an American hub, I wouldn’t be surprised if prices drop on American also. However, at this point I’m seeing much higher pricing on American still.

If you have the American Express Business Platinum card and have chosen Delta as your airline, this deal could be especially hot.  Thanks to the 50% rebate when paying with points, you would pay 38,600 points and receive 50% back for a net of 19,300 points round trip. You should also be able to earn some miles for the flight (though it may not be many).  That’s an excellent value.

Additionally, I see these flights bookable on Airfrance.us:

If you added the Amex Offer for 20,000 Membership Rewards points on $1,000 spent at Air France, you would be able to receive 20,000 Membership Rewards points when buying 3 or more tickets through Air France.  As the Amex Offer requires you to buy through AirFrance and the 50% point rebate requires your flights to be booked with your preferred airline, I don’t think you could stack these.
