Earn 1,000 Alaska Mileage Plan miles with Spring Shopping Promo

Following suit with the current United Airlines shopping portal promotion, Alaska Airlines is out with an offer today to earn up to 1,000 bonus miles for shopping with partners.

Alaska Shopping Portal Promotion 4-4-17

The Deal

  • Shop through Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan Shopping portal
  • Spend $150, earn 300 bonus miles
  • Spend $350, earn 1,000 bonus miles

Key Terms

  • Ends 4/12/17 at 11:59pm Eastern Time
  • Bonus is earned 1 time per member, based on cumulative purchases
  • Returns will get miles clawed back
  • Purchases must meet spending thresholds before tax/shipping charges

Final Word

On the surface, a thousand miles might not seem like a lot. But Alaska Mileage Plan miles are valuable for the variety of interesting partners awards possible and a free stopover on a one-way award. Their shopping portal often pays out less miles than others, but the relative value of their miles can make up for the difference. I have some purchases to make and I am collecting Alaska miles for a future award, so I plan to take advantage of this promotion. See the Mileage Plan Shopping site for full terms of the promotion.
