IHG has released their spring promotion for earning bonus points. As has been the case with IHG’s quarterly promotions for some time now, the offers are targeted. To register, first log into your IHG account at IHG.com and then click here. Your offer will be under “A Spring Offer Just For You”. When I open the promotion link in an incognito browser, it only populates the lowest offer — so you’ll want to log in before clicking the registration link.
The Deal
This is a targeted offer. You will be targeted for one of the following on stays from April 16-May 15, 2017:
- 3,000 points for 2 nights
- 6,000 points for 4 nights
- 12,000 points for 7 nights
- 18,000 points for 10 nights
- 30,000 points for 15 nights
Additionally, if you use your IHG credit card to pay for those stays, you will earn an additional 5,000 points.
Quick thoughts
Some bonus points beats no bonus points. This promotion is less rewarding than most IHG promotions we’ve seen in recent years. However, if you have IHG stays planning between April 16th and May 15th, you may as well earn as much as you can.

Sounds nice, ez to write, but really? This offer is pathetic, akin to the recent garbage IHG was sending out to try to get us to use their Chase/IHG cards.

It’s not a good promo for loyalty heavy IHG that have to use corporate credit cards like me. I do 100+ nights a year, mostly with IHG and I likely won’t be able to hit my 15 night target or get the 5k bonus. At least it’s a short promo. I’ll stay elsewhere to help reset my loyalty with IHG for future promos
