Citi Hilton Honors 50K Link

9

As we reported yesterday, it seems that this may be a last call for Citi’s Hilton cards. With Amex set to become the sole issuer of Hilton’s credit cards in January and Citi planning to migrate existing cardholders to something else (we don’t yet know what that will be), these cards have been removed from Citi’s website. We don’t know for sure if this is permanent, but suspect it to be an indication that these cards may be disappearing soon for new applications.

Citi Hilton Honors

Yesterday, we published working links for both the Citi Hilton Reserve and the Citi Hilton no-AF credit cards. While the Hilton Reserve offer contains 24-month exclusion language, the no-fee version that we posted had a 40,000 point sign-up bonus and no 24-month language. That 40,000 point offer is likely the best we’ll see for those have opened or closed a Citi Hilton card in the past 24 months.

However, if you have not opened or closed any Citi Hilton card in the past 24 months, there is a working link for a 50,000 point sign-up offer, as reported by Doctor of Credit:

Citi® Hilton Honors™ Visa Signature® Card

Offer: Earn 50,000 Hilton Honors Bonus Points after making $1,000 in purchases within 4 months of account opening

Working application linkhttps://www.citicards.com/cards/credit/application/flow.action?app=UNSOL&ProspectID=F599FD22B84B47E188E0F968BC3877C7&sc=FPHZ17L6&m=13WC111111W&B=S&ID=3004&uc:

Note the 24 month language: Hilton Honors Bonus Points offer associated with a new card opening is not available if you have opened or closed any Citi Hilton Honors cards in the past 24 months.

If you have not opened or closed any Citi Hilton card in the past 24 months, the Hilton Reserve is probably a stronger offer for most people. However, if you prefer the points (and no annual fee), this offer might be for you. We have added it to the previous post and our Best Offers page.

I currently hold the Citi Hilton Reserve Card, but I opened it over 2 years ago. Can i get the sign up bonus again, even though I currently hold the card?

I was able to get the Reserve tonight for me and my wife. Firefox worked for me and Firefox Private for her. Thanks for the links!

Applied for the 50k offer using the link and got a weird 10 day notice message. Called Citi with my app number and they couldn’t find my application. I think the 50k offer is a fairly old link so beware that it might not be supported on the backend.

BTW – almost forgot – thanks again Nick!!

Just applied at 12:55 pm Boston time at the above website using IE. It wouldn’t load on Chrome.
Got a further review screen (I just got a Citi Prestige a few weeks ago). The further review status could have been due to the number of cards I’ve applied for and received in the last 18 months.
Called, spoke to polite rep and after holding a bit was approved and told the card would be here in a week.

can both Citi Hilton cards be apps be done same day?

The 24 moth ban is if you had any hilton card or only Citi® Hilton Honors™ Visa Signature® Card within the last 24 months?

I wouldnt waste my time for 50k which is only worth $250 according to Hilton as they use the mark of 1/2 cent per pt when figuring out how many pts it will take for a free night. ( Bout the only upside would be to find a hotel where the rate is higher then what its previous Cat was, eg a former Cat2 was 20K so if that hotels rate is say $150 that night it will take only 20k for a free room, instead of 30k that would be @ 1/2 cent per pt)

Id rather get a Chase CC where the bonus will be much more savings in the pocket
