Bottom Line

There are a number of very good offers out today, many of which are available via Twitter. See our Complete Guide to Amex Offers for information on syncing offers to multiple cards. Keep an eye on terms — for example, the Marriott offer is only good at Marriott hotels (not Courtyard or Ritz or Fairfield, etc) and only at properties in the US, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands. Also remember that you can earn an additional 1x per dollar online at Best Buy with Membership Rewards earning cards. Check your Amex accounts for other interesting offers this morning as there are bound to be other good targeted offers.

[…] New Amex Offers: Marriott, Best Buy, Five Guys, More (Offers begin expiring 9/4/17) […]

[…] Early this morning, I noticed some big portal increases when I saw our daily portal alerts. American, United, Delta, Alaska, and Southwest airlines shopping portals are all advertising increased rates. A number of retailers are offering excellent payouts, and you may even be able to stack some of these with Amex Offers, like the eBags offer we covered this morning. […]

With past Marriott offers, we’ve been able to guy gc’s at the front desk. Has anyone tried with this one?

Dee

Buy, not guy

Dee

Marriott and SPG are the same company. So, why not?

Dalo

Intriguing that Amex has an offer for Marriott . Perhaps they are testing the response for an Amex Marriott card .

Jo

Five Guys is fine, but if the offer were for In-N-Out then I’d be happier. 🙂

Dani

The lines are bad enough 🙂

VirtuosoEric

No lines at In-N-Out in TX

Dani

So lucky, not the same for SoCal!

The Five Guys offer is also available via Twitter.

Is the Multiple Browser trick to add offers still working? I noticed the Complete Guide to Amex Offers has not been updated recently and I remember people were having issues with the Multiple browser trick when Amex updated their website. Thanks!

Kumar

It worked for me today morning where I added BBuy & 5Guys to all 4 of my cards

PetCo.com offer for $15 off $50 as well. My last physical card purchase processed from PetCo.com. Someone reporting that they new process via CashStar, but I don’t know if that’s just for e-gift cards or physical ones as well.

Dee

I just bought a bunch of physical gift cards at Petco.com with my Amex cards that had the offer. It did say they were via CashStar, but I got the “Great News! You used your Amex offer” emails for all of them. Usually the offer posts if I get the email.

Chimmy

Thanks for the report. I’ll try one out and if it works, I’ll do it it on my other two.

Michael

Was in Boston Market recently and noticed a corporate sign promoting availability of gift cards that specifically indicated that gift cards must be purchased with cash. Not sure if its routinely enforced or hard-coded but thought that strange policy.
