Back in May, Alaska airlines stopped allowing Priority Pass holders to bring guests into its Boardroom lounges (and access even for primary cardholders was often being restricted due to space constraints). However, effective yesterday, access has been expanded and Priority Pass holders are now permitted to bring two guests into Boardroom locations in Seattle, Portland, and Los Angeles.
Of course, lounges could (and probably will) still be capacity-controlled. However, this change is obviously a net positive for Priority Pass holders who travel with companions.
