Quick Thoughts

Availability on this sale looks pretty good. For example, here is the availability between Atlanta and Anchorage in January:

Admittedly, January wouldn’t be my top pick for times to visit Alaska — but it’s quite a distance for not a lot of miles. If you’re looking for warmer weather, Detroit to Honolulu has less availability, but still a fair number of dates at 35,000 miles round trip.

Remember to book by Thursday night for these flash sale rates. It’s great to see discounted domestic economy awards with availability. While Delta has long taken the brunt of jokes for the value of SkyMiles, they have really stepped things up with these recent flash sales. It’s great to see Hawaii, always a popular vacation destination year-round, included from departure points around the country. Check the links above and the promotion page for your preferred destination.
