Great deal: Flight + $250 in GCs + Uber credit for about $400 (depending on your itinerary)

At conferences like Frequent Traveler University, I have often heard rumblings about Upside, but until today I had never given it much of a look. Then, I saw a promotion this morning at Doctor of Credit: if you sign up through someone’s referral link (more on this below), you can get a $250 gift card for making a package booking of $400 or more. What makes this deal great is that the “package” can include Flight + Uber…

Earn free Starbucks stars, no purchase required

Unfortunately, the quick deal we posted yesterday for a $20 Starbucks gift card for $10 has sold out. However, a consolation prize might be the chance to win some free coffee. George over at Travel Blogger Buzz found a way to game the Starbucks summer game. His method was reported in detail at Extreme Hotel Deals last night. As I was completing the steps, I believe Starbucks might have begun capping this, but you may…

Surprise: No email, still targeted for 10K per AU

Over the past couple of days, many blogs have covered the recent bonus for adding authorized users to Amex Hilton Honors and Surpass credit cards. Since I hadn’t received an email, I assumed I hadn’t been targeted. I was wrong. Despite not having been targeted for any of the SPG spending offers over the past year, I finally clicked the link in the post at One Mile at a Time about the Hilton AU bonus…

Great deal: Go to the movies every day for $10 a month

MoviePass is an interesting service that offers “unlimited” movie theater movies each month for one price. My wife and I subscribed in the past and loved it, but stopped when the price went up to $40 a month. Today, it caught my eye when I saw that they are running a deal for just $9.95 per month per person for unlimited movies in the movie theater. There are a few catches — but this is a great deal…

Part of the sale is a discount on Apple watches, which should stack with 10% cash back from Discover (which will double to 20% if you’re in the first year of a Discover IT card). That cash back could make these prices a great deal. One note of caution: Most portals explicitly exclude Apple products from earning cash back at Macy’s. Discover doesn’t include that exclusion on its site. I’d suggest taking…
