Southwest 60K offers back: Companion Pass after $4K spend

The Chase Southwest Premier and Plus credit cards are back with 60,000-point signup bonuses on each, meaning it is once again possible to earn a Southwest Companion Pass with just 2 credit card signups. This time of year is probably the least desirable time to earn a Companion Pass in terms of the length of validity, but if you find yourself under 5/24 and you don’t intend to stay there long enough to wait, these offers…

New Citi transfer partner: Turkish Airlines

As first reported by Gary Leff at View from the Wing, Citi Thank You points has added a brand new transfer partner: Turkish Miles & Smiles. Thank You points transfer to Turkish at a 1:1 ratio in increments of a thousand, and we have added this information to our Citi Tansfer Partners page. What’s the award chart look like? As far as I can tell, Turkish doesn’t publish an award chart. However, Loyalty Lobby worked…

Nice fares to Hawaii from all over the US & Canada into March 2018

I just caught a post at Heels First Travel that highlighted an airfare sale first posted at Scott’s Cheap Flights with a list of great prices to Hawaii from all over the US and Canada for travel from September 2017 to March 2018 (excluding some dates around the major holidays). The standout fares to me were from Toronto and Montreal at $412-$450 (in US Dollars) round trip to Honolulu, Maui, and The Big Island (Kona). In fact, these cheap fares are even available during the Van’s…

Awesome: $298 RT New York to Israel

WOW Air is running a promotion: $149 each way between New York and Tel Aviv, Israel. Round trip to Israel for less than $300 is amazing. Note that at that price, you can not check a bag or select your seat, but you can add on those things that you need and skip the extras you don’t and still have an incredible price. If they don’t have a flight available for your preferred date in one direction, keep…

Finally targeted for a good IHG Accelerate promo

While most banks, airlines, and hotel programs have been cracking down on “gaming”, IHG has taken the opposite approach.  They’ve regularly run promotions that are like games.  They target different customers with different challenges in order to earn bonus points. The problem for me has been that most of my offers in the past have been terrible.  With the latest IHG Q3 Accelerate promo, though, I like what I see! To register for this promo…

Great deal: Flight + $250 in GCs + Uber credit for about $400 (depending on your itinerary)

At conferences like Frequent Traveler University, I have often heard rumblings about Upside, but until today I had never given it much of a look. Then, I saw a promotion this morning at Doctor of Credit: if you sign up through someone’s referral link (more on this below), you can get a $250 gift card for making a package booking of $400 or more. What makes this deal great is that the “package” can include Flight + Uber…

Hilton stinks at math: book award nights separately

I noticed a curious thing this week when I was looking up some award nights: Hilton’s computers aren’t always pricing awards correctly when you look at multiple nights — and it’s not good. When looking at Hilton award availability, it might be necessary to look up (and maybe book) each night individually to get the correct price in terms of Hilton Honors points. This makes award booking more time-consuming and less transparent. Example case: a 2-night…
