In today’s Thrifty Traveler Premium email, I noticed a nice deal to Australia — Qantas is offering direct flights nonstop on its new 787-9 from Los Angeles to Melbourne, Australia from $693 round trip. As reported by View from the Wing, there are some excellent airfares today from the west coast to New Zealand and Australia, with direct flights starting at $619. Citi adds Qantas as transfer partner

Citi has added Qantas as a new 1 to 1 transfer partner from their ThankYou Rewards program.  Citi now has 12 transfer partners, all of which can be found on Frequent Miler’s Transfer Partner Master List.
