Bluebird Migration: Is this the next or final chapter in Bluebird manufactured spend?

Last week InComm and Amex announced that InComm would acquire American Express’ Serve technology platform (which also includes Bluebird and REDbird) and would become the exclusive distributor of all Amex prepaid cards in the US. Bloomberg describes this as the end of Amex’s $300 Million prepaid tech experiment (Amex originally bought Serve technology for $300 Million). I think it’s smart of Amex to give up their prepaid products.  Amex’s brand has long been about great…

How bad were my 2015 predictions?

2016 predictions

I probably should have just swept these predictions under the rug and forgotten about them.  In January, I published my predictions for 2015.  Every one of my 2014 predictions had come true, at least partially, so I was feeling pretty cocky at the time.  I don’t have that feeling now!  Let’s looks at my 2015 predictions… Gary, from View from the Wing, will grudgingly admit that Delta SkyMiles should no longer be thought of as…

I realize that the above can be hard to read, so here it is in text: Tender Accepted Select Reloadable Prepaid Cards Effective Oct 13 cash is the only tender guests can use to reload select prepaid cards (listed…

Others have written in detail about…
