|Uber Visa Card||$100 after $500 spend in 90 days|
This is a decent rewards credit card for those who want a no-fee card that offers bonuses on dining out (4%) and travel (3%). With online purchases also earning 2%, a large portion of expenses could be covered by a bonus category with this card. The 2% category now even includes online purchases made with a third party payment method like PayPal, Venmo, Apple Pay, Android Pay, and Samsung Pay. That said, all other purchases earn only 1%, which is not a good rate of return compared to other options on the market.
The additional benefits of the card include up to $600 in mobile phone insurance, which requires that you charge your monthly phone bill to the card, and a $50 subscription benefit that can be credited again services like Netflix, HBO Now, or Amazon Prime when you spend at least $5,000 in a cardmember year. Keep in mind that the credit applies after your anniversary date, so you will not receive that $50 credit until year 2 no matter when in year 1 you hit the spend.
This is an good choice both for its signup bonus and rewards for spend in its bonus categories.
