Kroger is offering a coupon good for $20 off of $50 or more when you order online and pick up in-store. If you have a card that is newly-earning 4x at US Supermarkets and you’re itching to break it in on grocery spend, this discount might be right on time for you.

The Deal

  • Kroger is offering $20 off of a pickup order of $50 or more with a digital coupon you can load to your account
  • Direct link to this offer

Key Terms

  • Alcohol, tobacco, git cards, money services, and prescriptions do not apply toward the minimum spend for the coupon
  • Valid for pick up only, not delivery
  • Limit one per household
  • Expires 10/20/18

Quick Thoughts

As noted at the top, if you’re holding an Amex Gold card that now earns 4x at US Supermarkets (be sure to log in and check your benefits to be sure that applies for your card), this is a nice way to stack some savings while earning a nice return. That is, of course, assuming that an online order for store pick up qualifies — since I don’t live in an area with Kroger, I can’t confirm that (hopefully a reader can confirm that those purchases have coded as US Supermarkets).

While I don’t live in a Kroger area, I can vouch for the fact that ordering online for store pickup is a great convenience in general that I’ve found to be well worth the time savings. Saving an extra twenty bucks on top would be a no-brainer if I lived near Kroger and were eligible, extra rewards points or not. As this one is valid until 10/20, you have some time to wait for a sale on the things that you want/need.

All my purchases at Kroger stores have been coded as supermarkets.

This is only for your FIRST order. I read through your whole post and didn’t notice the picture is the only place it’s mentioned.
