This is one of the few deals where you can use points for a cruise. A balcony cruise for one person shows for about 135,000 points and the cruise is probably $1200, therefore that is right around $.01

You get about 3x points on most things I spend on. Wouldn’t take much to get that free cruise.

I just got approved with $25k CL and 100k point bonus. I visited a branch and applied in branch. They have flyers for it at the branch so the deal is still good, but I don’t know if you can apply online.

Maria

Any update on validity of the deal?

Greg The Frequent Miler

The latest news is that the deal is good, but only if you live in a supported state and go to a branch to apply

This has BMO Harris / Diners Club fiasco repeat written all over it. They’ll soon discover we’re not who they think we are.

SDO

What happened during the fiasco? 🙂

Greg The Frequent Miler

All: please hold off on applying. It turns out that the bank might not honor this deal after all. I’m still waiting for clarity before I post anything definitive.

misty

Thanks for the post.

Will wait to hear if offer is valid but if it is…

I just applied for a few cards on the first of August.
How long do I have to wait to apply?

Greg The Frequent Miler

You don’t HAVE to wait at all. People have found, though, that waiting 91 days or more is often helpful because then the weight of the prior applications is less.

Blanca

Tempted…

I don’t like the email thing to some person…I may look for a fax number or snail mail address to the bank. I just got home from a trip to California…we could have walked in. Ugh.

Umayer

I believe their best value is $1000 gift card for 105,000 points

Kalboz

What is the value of CNB’s 100K points? And where can be spent?

Thank you!

Bob

You can walk into any branch and sign up for it. Or call the branch and give them the info if you want.
