American Airlines First Class Availability Wide Open on Many Routes

aa first class space

American Airlines has been noticably stingy when it comes to releasing premium cabin award space, but it seems they are loosening up a bit. Currently, there is very wide open award space on a number of international routes in first class.

Among the routes with space are:

  • Dallas to Seoul
  • Dallas to Tokyo
  • Dallas to Frankfurt
  • Dallas to London
  • Dallas to Madrid

On many dates these routes have four or more first class seats available. For more information and analysis, see this One Mile at a Time post.

Yep. I noticed this yesterday. Typically it’s been really tough to get Business and First class award saver tickets to Buenos Aires (EZE) from San Diego. Especially considering that I need to get 4 tickets at a time for my wife and 2 kids.

Yesterday I was able to book spring break tickets in April. All in First class from EZE to SAN.
