ink plus 100K

Chase is sending out targeted mailers to business owners offering a 100K bonus on the Ink Plus card.

The Offer

Earn 100,000 bonus points after you make $5,000 in purchases in the first 3 months from account opening.

Need to Know

  • Mailers have a unique offer code.
  • $95 annual fee is waived the first year.
  • You can ask for a match, however it seems that Chase is not matching this offer if you are not targeted.

You can see the offer along with a number of data points regarding match requests on Reddit.

I recently applied for the Ink+ and CSR, and was approved for CSR but they are reviewing my Ink+ application. Should I ask for the 100k match now or after I’m approved?

Greg The Frequent Miler

Wait until after you are approved and meet the spend requirements. That said, unless you received the targeted 100K offer, they probably won’t match you.

Wife and I visited a Chase branch after getting our Global Entry thing in Orlando. We took the approach of her applying for CSR and I would go for the Ink Business 70K. She got approved immediately and I went pending on the Business Card. Odd thing is that I own a legitimate engineering business. I have gotten 15 cards in the past year, and my wife 9, so I cannot figure out how one gets one, and the other one does not.

[…] week I covered a targeted Chase Ink Plus 100K offer and now there is a new targeted Chase Ink Cash 50K offer that has […]

The mailings are not pre-approvals, they are qualified offers. I canceled my Plus in July, then got this offer this morning, applied and was rejected. The recon person said that the fact that I just closed the card was not an issue as the qualified offers trump that. But 5/24 still applies to qualified offers, and you need an actual pre-approval to get past that. Will head to the branch today to see if I have a pre-approval on file. Got my Sapphire Reserve that way yesterday, even with 17/24.

Good luck to all!

I still have and use my Ink Bold card everyday. Any chance of calling in to see if I can get this offer?

Greg The Frequent Miler

It can’t hurt to try, but I think the chance of success if very slim

Can I still receive the 100,000 if I already have this card w my first business and now have a second business?

Greg The Frequent Miler

Yes

Scott

Can the 2nd business use the same EIN (I have several DBAs under one EIN) — or does the 2nd busienss have to use a different EIN or a SSN (for a sole propreitorship?).

Greg The Frequent Miler

I’ve never tried using the same EIN, so I’m not sure. I know it works with different EINs or1 with EIN and 1 with SSN

Any guesses as to whether these targeted offers allow someone to circumvent 5/24?

SDO

I can speak from experience, no, it’s not a guarantee.

Greg The Frequent Miler

Some targeted offers say that you are pre-approved. I believe that those help w/ 5/24.

Robin

I received this in the mail, but the $95 annual fee was not waived in my offer. Boo.

Greg The Frequent Miler

Given that you can trade in 9,500 points for $95, it’s still an amazing offer. Think of it as a 90,500 point offer with no annual fee 🙂
