Hoffman has recently inspired you to try to capture some of your own incredible Australian wildlife pictures, you’re in luck — American and United have direct flights from Los Angeles to Sydney on sale for $751 on a wide range of dates from now through early June. Here is a search for this March for 7-11 nights:
Keep in mind that March is the tail end of summer and beginning of fall, with winter beginning in June. Of course, you’ve seen the pictures that J.M. got during winter, so don’t let that time of year scare you away.
Alternatively, there is still plenty of summer left this month (at least I hope so — I’ll be there next week…) and tickets seem to be available at this price for departures as early as tomorrow!
It seems that the American flights book into fare class “O”, which would earn 100% mileage if credited to Etihad Guest. Check into Gary Leff’s timely post on some great Etihad values for ideas about how to reap quite a bit of value out of that.
The United flights should earn 100% mileage in Singapore Airlines, which provides opportunities like Greg’s recent last minute birthday trip.
