Set your alarm: 20% off Hotels.com & Legal Sea Foods tonight @ Amazon

Tonight starting at 8pm (Eastern time) for Prime members, Amazon.com will be offering a discount on select gift cards.

Amazon Hotels and Legal Sea Foods

The Deal

Quick Thoughts

The Hotels.com gift cards are likely to sell out quickly – so set an alarm now to remind yourself to click and buy. While there is a limit of 1 of each deal per customer, you may be able to buy multiple cards if you have other family members who are Prime customers. There is also currently an Amex Offer for $10 back on a $50 Hotels.com gift card purchase, giving you plenty of opportunities to stock up at the moment. Remember that Hotels.com gift cards can be combined very easily online, allowing you to stack gift cards for a consistent ~20% savings (remember that portals usually do not pay out cash back when paying with a gift card at Hotels.com, so you’ll be foregoing portal cash back on your booking). Also remember that bookings through Hotels.com will be treated like other 3rd party bookings and therefore usually will not receive elite benefits or stay credit / hotel points. See our post on Extreme Stacking Amazon for maximum savings at Amazon. If you aren’t yet an Amazon Prime customer, see this post for details on how to get 3,000 JetBlue TrueBlue points (worth about $45 towards airfare) for signing up.

The deal on Legal Sea Foods appears to be lukewarm compared to discounted cards available online, though has the advantage of being sold directly by Amazon. If you have plans to eat there, it could be a good chance to save a few bucks.
