11% back at Lowe’s (in select areas, shipping possible on some items)

0

Lowe’s is offering an 11% rebate in the form of a Lowe’s physical or eGift card on select purchases from select stores. This deal could be really useful for those located near the right stores (mostly in the midwest in zip codes near Menards locations). However, even if you don’t live near one of the selected stores, you might also be able to order items to be shipped from eligible stores (this will only work with items that can be parcel shipped by USPS/UPS/FedEx).

The Deal

  • 11% Lowe’s gift card / eGift card rebate on purchases from select stores between 9/7/17 and 9/13/17
  • See the list of eligible stores on the third page of the rebate form here

Key Terms

  • Items must be purchased from one of the eligible stores (though you can purchase many items from a specific store with free parcel shipping)
  • Rebate must be postmarked by 10/13/17
  • Excludes Weber, Dacor, Icon, Fisher & Pakel, Monogram, Smeg, Liebherr, gift cards and service or installation
  • No limit per household

Quick Thoughts

This could be a great deal when stacked with coupon codes, cash back, and discounted gift cards — and the fact that there is no limit per household means that those with a major remodel in progress could save big. While the rebate isn’t as good as cash since it comes in the form of a Lowe’s gift card, most people probably find those useful enough to value the rebate pretty highly nonetheless.

Users in the Slickdeals thread about this deal have confirmed that purchases made entirely with Lowe’s gift cards qualified for the rebate when there was a similar promotion last month, and users there have also verified that they received the rebate when selecting an eligible store and having items shipped from that store. Note that for larger items like home appliances, you would need to live within the truck delivery zone of that store or pick up the item in-store, but items that qualify for parcel shipping (via USPS / UPS / FedEx) should qualify for this rebate if you select an eligible store. Apparently, My Lowes members (free to join here) receive free parcel shipping on all eligible items, though I have not tested this.

I did test changing my store location to an eligible store and adding an items to my cart. I was then able to select free parcel shipping:

This promotion should stack with any coupons and discounted gift cards as well as shopping portal cash back, which could create some solid deals for those with large Lowe’s purchases on the horizon.
