There is a new Amex Offer out today for 1,000 points or $10 back after spending $50 or more at Office Max / Office Depot. I found this card targeted on some of our Amex business cards.
This should pair nicely with some of this week’s instant savings of $15 on $300 or more in Visa Gift Cards. Note that while this offer came out a few days ago, I only saw it on our accounts this morning.

Tried to split pay with Ink and an Amex card that has this offer at 2 Office Depots yesterday and was told at both stores that split pay is no longer an option when buying gift cards (hard coded).
Unless it is a regional thing, they are not telling you the truth. I’ve split payment on VGC’s 4 times this week (had the offer on 4 cards).
Dont know it is regional or not. However split payment definitely is rejected by the system in our area.
I have friendly stores here and on last promotion the managers actually turned the screen over to show me the error message shown on screen when trying to do split payment. They told me it used to be possible but not any more since late last year.
Do you know if the $15 off $300 or more in Visa cards is available at all locations?
Should be. Check your local store’s weekly ad online.
