A couple of days ago, we published a Quick Deal about the newly enhanced signup bonus on the US Bank FlexPerks Travel Rewards card: 25K points plus a bonus based on the Team USA Winter Olympics 2018 medal count (See: Increased signup bonus: 25K FlexPerks + Winter Olympics medals bonus). At the time of writing, that offer was only available in-branch; it is now available online and shows that you can apply between 2/5/18 and 3/10/18. This means that you can wait it out and see how we do before applying.

I applied for this during the promo period and was approved on March 5th. I just got my bonus and it didn’t include the medal promo. Called and they created a ticket to do an inquiry on why I didn’t get the extra points. This is the first time I’ve ever had this card. Has this happened to anyone else? And do you think there will be a problem with getting the extra bonus points?
Sorry – I haven’t heard of any other issues with this one. As for a problem getting the points, I would imagine that you should be fine if you applied through the link for this promo and kept screen shots of the offer. I hope they get it resolved for you.

Does this Olympic bonus only apply to the visa? Or, does it also apply to the Flexperks Gold American Express?
This is just for the FlexPerks Travel Rewards card, which is the Visa.
