Quick Thoughts
This flash sale does represent savings on standard award flights, but the savings will vary by an undisclosed amount seeing as Delta doesn’t publish an award chart.
The only flights I’ve found for 36,000 miles so far are both to Colombian airports. There’s great availability from Atlanta to Bogota…
as well as from Atlanta to Cartagena, albeit limited by the schedule.
Higher priced options include Atlanta to Lima from 48,000 miles…
…and Santiago for 48,000 miles as well.
These round trips don’t have to originate in the US – the same award availability has been showing up when starting your journey in one of these South American cities.
