It’s worth calling to ask. They won’t match the bonus, but if you talk to a supervisor there’s a chance of getting courtesy points

I got the email overnight too…SPG member but never stay in their resorts…have multiple AMEX cards but no SPG card. My wife would shoot me if I got a hotel card with a$450 AF, she has to be sold on the concept of the $95/year Delta Gold AMEX cards.
This “3-day window” on this card MUST be paying out big enough referrals to pay for your son’s tuition. Crazy how the bloggers are blowing this one up. 100,000 hotel points 100,000 variable points. Geez.
DP: I received this offer in my email without ever owning and/or applying for an SPG credit card or staying in an SPG hotel. I have status through the Amex Platinum, earned Marriott Points through the Twitter + NFL parternship last season, and just combined my SPG | Marriott accounts.
