20K points per referral with Chase Ink; Earn up to 100K

9

Chase has a new referral offer out for the Chase Ink Business Preferred: you can earn 20K Ultimate Rewards points per referral up to 100k total points. The referral offer matches the best public offer on the card: 80K points for spending $5,000 in the first 3 months. We received this offer as Chase Ink Plus holders — so if you have an Ink Plus, check to see if you have a referral. Chase has sent this out as an email, you can also check the Chase Refer-a-Friend site listed below to see if you have a referral offer.

Chase Ink Referral

The Deal

  • Earn 20,000 Ultimate Rewards points for each business owner you refer who is approved
  • Earn up to a total of 100,000 bonus points per year from referrals
  • The person you refer gets the standard 80K for $5K spend signup bonus offer
  • Check the Chase Refer-A-Friend site to see if you have a referral

Quick Thoughts

This is a terrific offer. The previous offer was for 10,000 points per referral up to a total of 50,000 total points. Ultimate Rewards are a valuable currency with many transfer partners. As per our Reasonable Redemption Values, you can easily expect 1.82 cents each out of Chase Ultimate Rewards — though you can certainly do much better. That makes these referrals very valuable for Chase Ink customers. Check the Chase Refer-a-Friend site for a referral link if you have not received an email.

Nick, is there a referral thread or is it ok to post links in the comments? Haven’t posted one before and don’t want to run afoul of the protocol. Thanks.

When it rains it pours. Am so excited to refer my wife to this card. We actually postponed her signing up so that I could take advantage of my 100k point targeted Amex biz offer instead. Sometimes it pays to wait.

I have the old chase ink card. When I make a referral does the party I send the referral card get an offer for the new ink card or the old one?

Clint

A few days too late,
I just sent a person to this cart – they applied Friday before this referral came out today. They haven’t been approved yet, any chance I can get the referral retroactively? Anyone with experience doing that? I wonder if they can halt the application and sign under my referral.

Thanks Nick! I got this offer for my card, but don’t know anyone personally to refer to the card. Is there any way I can take advantage of this offer?

Make new friends.

Thanks – a great deal! I assume that the referral recipient has to be under 5/24 though, correct?
