The Deal

  • Note from the terms: Offer valid for reservations booked directly via CrystalCruises.com, phone at 1-888-722-0021 and travel agent only between 9/27/2017 and 11/27/2017. Quick Thoughts

If you’re looking at a cruise with Crystal Cruises, this would be an awesome rebate. According to our Reasonable Redemption Values, 25K Membership Rewards points is worth about $455 — though you can certainly get more value out of transfer partners. That’s a great deal with a $1,000 booking if you can find a cruise around that price or split tender with multiple cards that have the offer.

I’ve not looked into Crystal Cruises before. It looks like they have some cruises that are……a little out of my price range:

But they do offer some more modestly-priced options as well.

And there are certainly plenty of options in between. While this offer probably won’t entice anyone to make a spontaneous cruise booking, you’ll want to take a look through your offers if you already had a cruise with Crystal Cruises in mind.

Note that this offer is targeted. My wife and I didn’t get it on any of our cards, but Greg got it on at least one of his. I’m not sure if there is a method to the targeting or if there is also a cash-back version of the offer, but it’s certainly possible.

Do you have any idea how much a Crystal Cruise costs. Terribly expensive. Get on Celebrity Reflection for thousands less and get better service and elegance.

I’d love to know which Amex cards Greg got the offer on. Neither my husband nor I got the offer. We recently went on our first Crystal cruise, and everything about it was extraordinary. I would definitely book again.
