This is dead. New offer: Earn 50,000 bonus points after spending $4,000 on purchases in the first 90 days. Earn 25,000 bonus points after spending a total of $10,000 in your first year as a cardmember.2

I was told twice today (upon calling recon) that Barclays’ policy, for all personal and biz cards, is to wait “about 24 months” since account closing before approving app for the same card again. FYI, maybe it increased from the 6 months listed here.

How to get 10% miles rebate after taking award flight? My wife, daughter and myself never received it.

Greg The Frequent Miler

It should be automatic. How long ago did you take the flight?

Mariusz

My mistake. Found it in account’s activity. Thanks for reply.

Frank

Is there any negative to pooling my JetBlue miles with P2?

Captain Greg

The other important difference between this card and the jetblue plus card is that you get 10% back in points used each year. That combined with the 5k points and free checked bag makes it a keeper for me. Without the 10% back, it might not be a keeper.

[…] New York was the next thing to do! Earlier this year I had just earned 100k jetBlue miles from the jetBlue Business Card and I found some transcontinental flights from Seattle to New York for 47k miles a ticket in […]

Dave Hanson

The business card offered a 100K signup bonus earlier this year, like the plus card did. Might be worth updating the description to reflect that 60K isn’t the highest bonus. Thanks!

Greg The Frequent Miler

Good catch! I’ll fix that, thanks.

Jon

I got the Jetblue biz card a few months ago using my SSN as sole prop. Any idea if I would be eligible for the bonus again if I sign up again using my EIN? Different business but same Jetblue number.

Greg The Frequent Miler

I’d guess no, but I’m not sure.

Frank

My wife was about to apply for the 50K JetBlue Business card but it comes up with a question asking for a “Controlling Manager” (that would be me). It asks for that person’s SSN. That looks like they will do a hard pull on me. Do you know anything about this? I could put my wife as controlling manager as she is the President but I do most of the work (at least that’s what I say).

Greg The Frequent Miler

I’m not sure how that works. I’d guess that it would be safer to put her as the controlling manager.

Frank

Well, I decided to leave it for now, concentrate on better cards. Thanks.

Brett

Are they strict on actual business purchases?

Nick Reyes

I’ve never had any issuer question whether my purchases were business in nature or not.
