FM Mini Review: This card is basically the same as the Spark Cash for Business, but rewards are intended to be used to offset travel purchases. One big advantage over cash back: Capital One allows transfering their "miles" to airline miles at a 2 to 1.5 ratio and "miles" can be combined with other cards or other customers.

Overview

It's rare to find a business rewards card with great rewards for all spend. This one offers 2 miles per dollar everywhere. Miles are worth 1 cent each when redeemed for travel. Simply use the card to pay for any travel expenses, and then log onto your account and apply miles to offset your statement charges. In other words, the Capital One Spark Miles for Business card is essentially a 2% rewards card.

Things get more interesting now that Capital One Miles are transferable to airline miles. Since the transfer ratio is 2 to 1.5, you can think of this card as earning your choice of 2% everywhere OR 1.5 airline miles everywhere.

More information about Capital One transfer partners can be found here.

Additional benefits of this card include no foreign transaction fees, travel and emergency assistance services, purchase protections, and more.

[…] The Venture Rewards card made the top of the list because it is good for those who want the simplicity of being able to use rewards for any travel any time, and it is also useful for those who know how to maximize value by transferring points to airline miles.  This is the only all-in-one card that I can think of that offers solid value for both type of uses.  You can do better by juggling multiple cards, but if you want the one card that does it all, this is it (along with its business twin: Spark Miles for Business).
