[…] Chase World of Hyatt Credit Card: This is actually a Chase consumer Visa card, but it could work with Plastiq if you have a big enough credit line. Big spend bonus: Earn 2 elite qualifying night credits per $5K in purchases. If you’re chasing Hyatt status, this is a cheap and easy way to “mattress run” your way to status. When you pay the Plastiq fee, you can think of that as paying for Hyatt points plus elite nights. If we conservatively value the Hyatt points at 1 cent each, then paying the 2.5% Plastiq fee is like paying 1.5% for the elite nights plus 1% for the Hyatt points. Each elite night, then, would cost you $37.50. […]

Do you have a new offer link. This isn’t working. also, does this new card count or subject to 5/25 I am trying to stay under 5/25 and am at 4/25 thanks
I just tested the link on this page at 2:00pm Eastern time on 1/14/19 and it’s working fine for me. Have you tried a different browser / device? Sometimes your computer might store a cookie that interferes with a link.
Yes, this card is subject to the Chase 5/24 rule. You’ll find that information on all of our Chase cards in the section under “noteworthy perks”. In that note, just before the application tips section on this page, it says:
“Note: This card is believed to be subject to Chase’s 5/24 rule.”
All new personal cards count towards your 5/24 count. And at this point, it seems that all Chase cards are subject to the rule as well. So if you’re at 4/24 now, you could be approved…but that will put you at 5/24 and lock you out of other Chase cards. It’s worth considering whether there are other Chase cards you may want first. Keep in mind that Chase business cards do not add to your 5/24 count (but you do need to be under 5/24 to be approved).
Yes, it failed. I just tried again from difference computer and browser…go all the way in as though you are making an application. I had read on your blog that Hyatt and IHG didn’t count for 5/24 and that is why I was getting those cards. I will try for Amex BUSINESS Gold &hilton honors business amex , Citi Business AA and Chase business cash to stay under 5/24 then. I need the delta business as well… I hope all of these will keep me under 5/25… Thank you so much! Absolutely LOVE this page!
Well, now it’s not working on my side either. At least, it wasn’t. I’ve replaced it with the current best offer.
Hyatt and IHG didn’t used to be subject to the 5/24 rule. That means that in the past, you could be approved for those cards even when you were over 5/24. That changed over the last few months and we’ve updated all of the credit card pages to reflect it.
All personal cards have added to your 5/24 count since the 5/24 rule began. Most business cards do not add to your 5/24 account. Capital One is a notable exception.
Your plan looks good!
