A few Membership Rewards transfer bonuses ended recently, but a couple of new ones showed up today. One of those is a 30% bonus when transferring your Amex points to Virgin Atlantic.
- Get a 30% bonus when transferring American Express Membership Rewards to your Virgin Atlantic Flying Club account.
- Expires December 28, 2019.
American Express offers transfer bonuses to Virgin Atlantic fairly frequently, but it’s always nice to see it return.
Virgin Atlantic has a few sweet spots, so those are made even sweeter by this bonus. For example, it normally costs 120,000 Flying Club miles to fly round trip in first class from New York to Tokyo which is a great deal in and of itself. This bonus though means you only have to transfer 93,000 Membership Rewards for that same award which is incredible value.
You can also book direct flights from the US to Europe on Delta for 50,000 miles each way in business class. If you can find availability in both directions, you’d only need to transfer 77,000 Membership Rewards to book that round trip business class award.
This transfer bonus is available for the next four weeks, so you have plenty of time to find some awards if this bonus interests you.
