Apple card users are being offered the opportunity to skip the March payment without incurring any interest or fees, enabling those who opt in to skip the payment due this month and pay it next month. Be on the lookout for an email with a link to enroll.
I’ve seen a number of posts in my personal social networks over the past few days from friends who work in the service industry and don’t have the option to work from home, so this kind of program is nice for folks who might be in the process of trying to figure out the next steps to make ends meet. Living on credit cards obviously isn’t a long-term plan, but it might buy some folks a little time in the short term to ration resources and plan for the future. I wouldn’t be entirely surprised to see other similar programs in the coming weeks.
