Overview

The Bank of America Travel Rewards Card offers 1.5 points per dollar everywhere. Points are worth 1 cent each when redeemed for travel. Simply use the card to pay for any travel expenses, and then log onto your account and apply points to offset your statement charges. In other words, this card is essentially a 1.5% rewards card.

This card does have a couple of big advantages over other no-fee cards. For one, it has no foreign transaction fees. More importantly, you can get up to a 75% bonus through your banking relationship with Bank of America and/or Merrill Edge. This makes it possible to earn up to 2.625% back on all spend. That's phenomenal! For additional details, see: Up to 2.625% back for timeshares, fortune tellers and more.

If you can afford to keep a large balance with Bank of America or Merrill Edge investments, this is a fantastic choice since it is possible to get 2.625% in rewards for all spend.
