Amazon has the Bose Quiet Comfort 25 Noise Canceling Headphones on sale for Cyber Monday, with either the Apple or Android versions going for $109.99. If you are eligible and haven’t maxed out the Amex 20% off promotion (See: $100 win at Amazon (20% off up to $500) w/ 1 Membership Rewards point), you could get these for as low as $79.12 net with some work or $87.99 easily. That’s a solid price on these.

- Bose QuietComfort 25 Acoustic Noise Cancelling Headphones for Android devices for $109.99
- Stack either deal with the Amex 20% off deal or the Chase $15 off of $60 deal
Quick Thoughts
Either headset normally goes for significantly more –the Android set goes $172 or more at Amazon almost all of the time according to camelcamelcamel.com – so the $109.99 price point is definitely a deal over everyday pricing.
But if you’ve got access to either the Amex promo for 20% off when using at least one Membership Rewards point, all the better as you can get the price down to $87.99 before tax.
Save even more if you have the current Chase Offers for 10% back at either Lowe’s or Staples as I believe that Amazon gift cards purchased at those stores ought to trigger those offers. The caps on both offers are low, but you could stack an additional 10% off for a net total of $79.19 plus tax (note that you have to pay 1 cent with Membership Rewards points, so don’t buy a gift card exceeding the price of the headphones). Alternatively, buy Amazon gift cards at an office supply store with a Chase Ink Cash for 5x. There are lots of opportunities here.
Overall, this is a solid deal if you’ve been eyeing these headphones.

ordered 2 Android and 2 apple for the lulz. $188 out the door for two of them, not counting potential portal bonus + cc spend bonus(1.25% on this). $236 for the other two but used Discover IT(10% w/ cashback match) so should bring this total to $213(+two free pairs of happy socks from earlier gift card purchases :)). $411 out the door for four pairs and hopefully a little reward with the portal bonus, time to flip 🙂
You can pay the $.01 with points and the rest with a gift card balance (preloaded to your account). You don’t need to actually put any charge on your card to get the 20%.
My understanding was that if your gift card balance completely exceeds the purchase price, it won’t let you put $0.01 on points. Am I understanding that incorrectly?
Maybe pre-loading the gift card to the account before the purchase makes a difference. I’ve never tried to redeem an Amazon gift card during a purchase before, so I can’t really comment on that. I always pre-load the gift card to my account right after purchasing it.
But I can tell you with certainty, I was able to use a single point to get the 20% discount and then pay for the remainder with my gift card balance that was pre-loaded to my account.
