|Capital One® Venture® Rewards Credit Card||50K after $3K spend in 3 months from account opening|
This is a decent travel rewards credit card for those who don’t want to bother with trying to find award flights with traditional airline miles. Earn 2 miles per dollar for all spend. Miles are worth 1 cent each when redeemed for travel. Simply use the card to pay for any travel expenses, and then log onto your account and apply miles to offset your statement charges.
The main advantage of this card over a no-fee 2% cash back card is that this one offers a very nice signup bonus, no foreign transaction fees, and travel protection (You can be reimbursed up to $1,500 per trip for non-refundable travel expenses, if your trip is cancelled or cut short by things like sickness or injury).
10X for Hotels…
One other area in which this card really shines is when booking hotels through their special link. Earn 10x miles on hotels when you pay with your Venture card at hotels.com/venture. In other words, you get the equivalent of 10% back for all hotel bookings made this way!
This is an good choice both for its signup bonus and rewards for spend, and it’s especially good for those who book hotels often and don’t want to bother with trying to seek out the best deals.

Annual fee waived first year, then $95
FM Mini Review: This is basically a 2% cash back card, but rewards can only be used to offset travel purchases. Signup bonus is excellent, but due to the annual fee, you can do better after the first year.
