Last week, we reported that Wyndham Rewards has a new shopping portal and a promo running through July 15, 2019. Today, I stumbled on a similar-looking Caesars Rewards shopping portal. Similar to the Wyndham side, the returns for most stores aren’t great, but it’s another portal to keep in mind if you have a use for the Caesars Rewards Credits.
The Deal
- Caesars Rewards Marketplace shopping portal is now open. Through July 31st, they are awarding 500 tier credits “to the first 1,000 shoppers” who sign in and make an eligible purchase.

Quick Thoughts
Again, the rates here don’t look particularly exciting (looks like the max payout is 4x). However, if you’re looking to pick up some easy Caesars Rewards credits, this could be the way to do it. If you’ve hopped on the status-match-go-round and matched to Caesars Diamond status, you may be interested in checking out one of the Diamond lounges. You need 1,000 Rewards credits to get in (a value of about $10, but most reports I’ve read indicate that you can’t pay in cash but rather need to have rewards credits). With the shopping portal it would probably be relatively easy to pick up the 1K Rewards credits to go visit a lounge if that’s your thing (or if you need a backup plan for when you go bust).
I don’t see this portal being widely useful, but in those specific spots it might be worth a look.

I am confused. Tier credits are NOT Reward Credits (RCS). Well, unless something has changed. I see the contest to win 100,000 (Reward Credits) RCs…. but, do you ALSO get 500 RCs in addition to 500 Tier Credits for shopping? (Though, I assume the shopping earns RCs and not Tier — so perhaps you were just referring to the amount you would earn shopping on their portal.)
Yes, it is absolutely true that you need RCs to access the lounge and cannot pay cash. I had even suggested to some buying Wyndham Points during the recent Daily Getaways promo just for that purpose. Still decent value, with regard to the Diamond Lounges if you drink alcohol.
Yeah, I figured someone would chime in with the difference between Tier credits and Rewards credits. I expect that whoever wrote it up for the portal doesn’t know the difference and the portal is just awarding Rewards Credits. That’s my bet, anyway. What kind of odds can I get on that?
Well….. Caesars Rewards (Total Regards)…. the stories I could tell. LOL Some might say Tier are more valuable since you can “buy” RCs via Wyndham. Caesars does run Tier Credit promotions (like they did with the room promotion last year), so it’s NOT just Reward Credit promotions. It could be possible the 500 is Tier Credits. Crazed today, but will look deeper into it tomorrow. Of course, interested in learning what you find out.

I doubt this is a misprint, as I’ve seen tier credit promos before. And since I am a fake Diamond, tier credits are useless to me. Furthermore, I must say the food offerings at the AC lounge are pretty weak, although, combined with the booze, ambience, and direct ocean view, they are worth $13 (the Wyndham cost of entree).
I’ve been trying to make a purchase through the portal and keep getting the “Problem with the server” error. Have you been able to successfully click through to a merchant?
at the top of the page it says
“NO PURCHASE OR PLAY NECESSARY TO ENTER. Promotion period (“Promotion Period”) begins on Wednesday, May 20, 2019 at 12:00 a.m. PT and ends on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. PT. All times referred to in these Official Rules are Pacific Time (“PT”).”
and i think that is for the drawing. The 500 Tier Credits were available
between the dates of Wednesday, May 20 – Friday, 31, 2019.
