Hyatt is out with its first promotion since the launch of the new World of Hyatt program — Double Points for Being You. This promotion requires registration here and will award double base points beginning with your second stay between April 1 and June 30th, 2017.

Hyatt Double Points for You

The Deal

  • Double base points on Hyatt stays (i.e. 5 bonus points for 10x total) beginning with 2nd stay during promotion

Key Terms

  • Requires registration here.
  • Valid for stays between April 1 and June 30, 2017
  • Elite bonuses still apply to 5 base points (no elite bonus on the 5 bonus points) — meaning top-tier Globalists will earn 11.5 points per dollar

Quick Thoughts

Gary Leff at View from the Wing has a good comparison between this promotion and last year’s. Spoiler alert: this year’s promotion is not as generous. Still, you should register for the promotion whether you plan to use it or not — more points is better than less points if you find yourself staying at a Hyatt for the second time during the promotional period. Of note, the promotion does apply to M life rewards hotels, so if you have an upcoming trip to Las Vegas planned, don’t forget to register to earn more Hyatt points.

Terms from Hyatt:

We understand being rewarded helps you be your best. Earn double points April 1 – June 30, 2017 on eligible stays at Hyatt hotels worldwide and participating M life Rewards destinations, starting with your second eligible stay. All Eligible Stays under this promotion must occur from April 1, 2017 through June 30, 2017 (“Offer Period”).
