Increased JetBlue offers: 60K biz / 50K personal

In updating our Best Offers page, I realized that the offers on both the JetBlue Business Card and the Barclays JetBlue Plus card have increased this month. Both offers are pretty solid and well worth a look if you’re interested in a quick influx of JetBlue TrueBlue points.

Barclays JetBlue Plus Mastercard

Quick Thoughts

Both of these offers are quite strong for the JetBlue cards. The value of JetBlue TrueBlue points is related to cash fares — our Reasonable Redemption Value for TrueBlue points is 1.33c, making the 50K offer on the JetBlue Plus card worth around $665 worth of JetBlue airfare or the 60K offer worth around $800 in airfare (give or take depending on your redemption). Keep in mind that points can also be used for travel on Hawaiian Airlines (which will also be tied somewhat to the cash rate).

The business version of this card should not count towards your 5/24 count, but keep in mind that Barclays can be somewhat tight on approvals and sometimes requests business documents.

The 10% rebate on redemptions with either of these cards stretches the value of your points a bit further, so the welcome bonuses might even be a bit more valuable to you considering that.

While I tend to prefer other airline miles over TrueBlue points, these offers look solid for JetBlue flyers.

While updating the ‘Best Offers’, can you remove ‘The Gold Card from American Express for Ameriprise Financial’?

Thx!

Just FYI, I believe they’ve removed the language about 10%-off B6 redemptions from the T&Cs of the JetBlue Business card, and if that’s the case, you might consider updating this post to reflect that.
