Increased referral offers on Delta personal cards

Three of the Delta consumer (i.e. personal) cards now have increased welcome offers that are only available via friend referral links. Below is the key offer information — click on the card name to go to our Frequent Miler card page with all the pertinent details and a link. Note that these offers are only available on the personal version of each card (not the business version).

The Offers

FM Mini Review: Priority boarding, and free checked bag make this a reasonably good option for Delta flyers who do not have elite status. However, those who can make use of an annual companion certificate would do better with the Delta Platinum card.

Quick Thoughts

All three of these are excellent offers on these cards and are set to expire on 5/1/19. With the Reserve card, you’ll have to consider the fact that while the number of bonus redeemable miles has increased, this offer only awards 5K MQMs (versus the standard offer of 10K MQMs). If you need extra MQMs for status, you may be willing to forgo the additional redeemable miles in favor of the “standard” offer. Otherwise, this offer is great for those who do not need the MQMs.

Overall, these are three solid offers on the Delta cards, but keep in mind that all three have lifetime language (i.e. the welcome bonus is not available to those who have or have had the card before, regardless of whether or not you have ever received a welcome offer).

Are these different than the public offers on Delta’s website?

I’m sure this is a stupid question, but how do you GET a referral link?
