(EXPIRED) Kroger: Save $5 On $100 Mastercard or Visa GC, $4 On Multipak Visa GC – Stack w/ 4x Fuel Points

Kroger has added a couple of new digital coupons offering savings on both Visa and Mastercard gift cards. The separate coupon for 4x fuel points will work with the $5 off offer, making that one an even better deal.

  • Expires November 27, 2018.
  • Offer excludes Mastercard and/or Visa $25, $50, Multipacks and Variable Load Gift Cards.
  • Limit one coupon per customer. Redeemable up to one time in one transaction.
• Save $4 when buying one Multipak Visa gift card.
  • Expires November 27, 2018.
  • Offer excludes Mastercard and/or Visa $25, $50, $100, and Variable Load Gift Cards.
  • Limit one coupon per customer. Redeemable up to five times in one transaction.

Quick Thoughts

The $5 digital coupon should pretty much wipe out the activation fee for the Mastercard or Visa gift card. I’m not sure how much the activation fees are for the Multipaks, so $4 off might or might not be a great deal.

There’s a separate digital coupon offering 4x fuel points on Mastercard and Visa gift cards, so that’ll stack with the first digital coupon mentioned above, but not the second.

If you’re interested in some of Kroger’s other gift card deals this week, it might be worth buying the Mastercard / Visa gift card(s) first, then using them to purchase the third party gift cards. That makes draining the cards easier, although you’d be missing out on grocery store category bonus spend by doing that.
